They weigh around 3-5 kg.
Habitat
Coastal region of Antarctica and adjacent islands, the largest colony is in Zavadovski.
Feeding
Their diet consists of krill and small fish.
Reproduction
They have the same partner throughout their lives, there is parental care after the birth of the chick around 25 days. Afterwards, the chicks of the colony stay together in a kind of nursery until they are 60 days old.
Conservation status
Least concern.
